Florida Environmental Labs is the only private, state-certified drinking water lab in Collier County. We have been conducting well inspections and testing well water since 2005. A thorough home inspection should always include water tests done by a state-certified lab. If you don't use us, make sure to use a state-certified lab. We know of no home inspectors that are state certified to conduct well water or drinking water testing. Florida Environmental Laboratories does all FHA, USDA, VA and other real estate related water testing in-house. Our lab directory has over 20 years of experience working in laboratories and he would be glad to answer your questions...even if you are not a client. If someone (a home inspector or water equipment dealer) offers to do water tests for you, ask for their Florida Department of Health certification number and then check it at the following site:
